三联生活周刊的土摩托曾经在他博客里介绍了一首歌，歌名叫做《在我死后》（When I’m Gone）。是土老师非常喜欢的歌手菲尔·奥克斯（Phile Ochs）。据土老师介绍，菲尔·奥克斯是个抗议民歌手，曾经被认为最有资格成为“迪伦第二”。奥克斯还是个铁杆的左派，曾经亲自去智利支援阿连德，和智利民歌手维克多·哈拉成了朋友。哈拉后来被智利军政府杀害。越战结束后，美国的抗议民歌手失去了方向，同时也失去了市场。奥克斯的演艺生涯一落千丈，没人找他录音，没人去听他的演唱会。他开始酗酒，得了严重的抑郁症，于1976年4月9日在家中上吊自杀，年仅36岁。

正如土老师所言，“国内知道他的人很少”。我头一次听到这首歌便喜欢上了。尤其重要的是，这首歌曲非常适合现在来听。一段时间以来，我们大家都被悲伤压迫得甚至有一点窒息的感觉。可是我们也都知道，逝者已矣，生者岂可就此沉沦？就像奥克斯所唱到的那样，“在我死后，这个世界上就没有了我的位置”，所以一切我们该做的、能够做到的，都要乘着我们还活着来完成。哀悼死者是为了让生者警醒：珍惜今天，活着真好！这些日子以来，各电视台还在一窝蜂地煽情。我觉得够了，过了！该让大家都放松放松了。放松下来好好想想如何去帮助灾区人民重建美好生活；也好好想想如何让自己活得更美好。
